Registration & Participation Instructions for the Meditation Camp
1. Residential Format & Inclusivity
- Residential Stay: This is a residential meditation camp. Participants must stay at the meditation centre for the entire duration of the program.
- Open to All: Anyone can participate regardless of caste, creed, or religion.
2. Accommodation & Amenities
- Arrangements are provided for accommodation, simple vegetarian food, and basic amenities throughout the camp.
3. Registration Requirements & Process
- Advance Registration: Participants must register at least 5 days before the start of the camp.
- Form Submission: Fill out the registration form on the website with accurate personal and contact details.
- Identity Verification: To complete registration, upload a photo of your identity proof online or send a clear photo/photocopy to 9437283377.
- Limited Seats: Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited seat capacity.
4. Eligibility & Health Guidelines
- Age Limit: Participants must be between 14 and 70 years old.
- Health Condition: The course requires stable physical and mental health. Individuals suffering from serious illnesses or major health conditions may not be permitted to attend.
5. Admission & Arrival
- Confirmation Required: Form submission does not guarantee admission. Selected applicants will receive an official confirmation message from course management.
- Arrival Time: Report to the Meditation Campus before the scheduled reporting time specified in your confirmation message.
6. Preparation & Personal Belongings
- Items to Bring: Bring your own personal care items and daily essentials (e.g., soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair oil, bed sheet, water bottle).
7. Cancellations & Rules
- Inform in Case of Cancellation: If you cannot attend after receiving confirmation, notify management in advance so your seat can be reallocated.
- Follow Course Discipline: All participants must read and adhere to the camp's rules and discipline for the entire duration of the course.
Meditation Camp Rules and Guidelines
1. Maintain Silence
- Noble Silence: All students must maintain complete silence from the start of the course until the morning of the last full day. Communication with other students or visitors in any form—including talking, whispering, gestures, sign language, or written notes—is strictly prohibited.
- Communication with Management: Students may write to the management regarding issues related to food, accommodation, or health. These interactions must be kept as brief as possible.
- Personal Mindset: Throughout the course, participants should maintain the feeling of practicing quietly in solitude.
2. Religious Objects
- Prohibited Items: Do not bring prayer beads, crystals, talismans, or any religious items to the course.
- Safe Custody: If brought by mistake, these items must be handed over to the management for safekeeping until the course ends.
3. Intoxicants and Medication
- Prohibited Substances: Alcohol, illicit drugs, tobacco (smoking, chewing, or snuff), tranquilizers, sleeping pills, and other sedatives are strictly forbidden on the course site.
- Prescription Drugs: If you are taking doctor-prescription medication, inform the course management in advance.
4. Food and Diet
- Vegetarian Meals: Simple, healthy, and balanced vegetarian meals suitable for meditation practice are provided. Personal food preferences cannot be catered to.
- Special Diets: Inform the management at the time of application if you require a special diet for specific health reasons.
5. Clothing Code
- Modesty & Simplicity: Wear simple, modest, and comfortable clothing. Tight, transparent, revealing, or flashy attire (such as shorts, short skirts, leggings, sleeveless tops, or short tops) is not permitted.
- Color Preference: White clothing is preferred.
6. Outside Contact and Campus Boundaries
- Campus Restrictions: Students must remain within the designated course area for the full duration and may not leave without explicit consent from management.
- External Communication: Outside contact via phone calls, letters, or personal visits is not allowed. In emergencies, family or friends may contact the management directly.
7. Media, Devices, and Materials
- Audio Devices: Playing musical instruments, radios, or other audio playback devices is prohibited.
- Recorders & Cameras: Tape recorders, cameras, or recording devices are not permitted unless authorized by the teacher.
8. Course Fee and Donations
- Voluntary Basis: There is no compulsory fee to participate. The course runs entirely on a donation basis.
- Supporting Future Camps: Participants who benefit from the course and wish to support future meditation camps may make a voluntary donation on the final day, according to their means and desire.
